Bloomington Lake

Today we took the boys and their Grandpa Scott on the 4-wheelers and went to Bloomington Lake.  It was way super dusty, but it was totally worth it.  The views were amazing!!  Here are some pictures I took...

Sunset

We had a beautiful sunset yesterday.  Here are a few pictures...

July 24th Weekend

For the weekend of the 24th, we took the boys on a couple 4-wheeler rides.  We had a ton of fun exploring the outdoors.  On Friday we went up to Willow Flats to unload the wheelers and from there drove up to the Pat Hollow plane crash site.  Scott and Lorri also came with us on this trip.

Can you believe how much snow was still up there?!?!

You should have seen the size of some of the salimanders living in that pond.  You wouldn't believe the mosquitoes either.  They were HORRIBLE!!

On Sunday we went up to Logan Canyon and unloaded by Camp Lomia.  We then rode up to Logan Peak.  The views were spectacular!!

Next week we are planning to go to Bloomington Lake.  I can't wait!!

Rhett went to Hogle Zoo

Rhett was able to go to Hogle Zoo a couple weeks ago with the Summer Camp.  He had a blast and took tons of pictures.  Here are a few from his trip...

Aren't these boys the cutest??

Last weekend, we all went 4-wheeling.  We headed up Willow Flats, then onto Franklin Basin and tried to go to Gibson Lake but we couldn't make it because of the snow.

On our way, there was quite a big snowdrift in the middle of the road.  Kevin ended up winching his wheeler to the other side and then pulling mine over.  While we were waiting for him to get across, Rhett spotted a bull moose!
It was crazy close, but very curious.  It just stayed there watching us and then decided to walk away along side of us.

Thursday, Kevin and his dad took the boys up to the same area again and were able to get to the lake that we couldn't.  It looked like they had alot of fun.  It is crazy how much snow there is still in the mountains even on July 14th.
